Alys – Student – Corn Street, Bristol

Name Alys
Age 18
Occupation Arts Student
Height 5.3″
Where do you like to shop? Topshop in London – their selection is immense! I love going to Brick lane on Absolute Vintage on Sundays is cool – I like St Nicholas market on Corn Street, Bristol, too. Great place to pick up vintage items – second hand handbags, shoes, denim skirts…
Do you have a favourite designer? I like Dahlia for their sweet girly dresses and Love @ Topshop. For shoes I like shopping in Kurt Geiger, they are displayed so well and the trends are hot off the catwalk. One of my favourite designers is Chanel – their clothes glorify women and are so chic. There is such a lot of heritage behind that label. It is so reliable too. I love vintage, cute floral things, 50’s style items with a modern twist.
If I had a dog I’d call it…I have a lovely little doggie called Taz. He’s tiny.

Alys is so cute! She loves vintage indie clothes, and uses the high street to freshen up this style. She is wearing a Miss Selfridge dress, a hand-beaded Siren cardigan and Cath Kidston shoes. Her mock Chanel flap-bag is from River Island and glasses from a shop on Park Street, Bristol. Have you seen Siren’s cardigans? How funky would they look over a floral mini from Topshop:

Low fashion, high fashion, you call the shots. What do you think of what Alys is wearing? SEE BLOG for comments
